Red Nose Day.

Red Nose Day is fast approaching and it's getting more and more stylish by the year! This year they have a range of t-shirts at TK MAXX designed by the LEGEND that is Vivienne Westwood so naturally they are very 'edgy' and cool.(and a fraction of the price of anything I'd ever dream of looking at in the Vivienne Westwood store)

This one's my Favorite... good ol' Shakespeare

'Queenie'

'Black Adder'

Brace yourself for an amazing name... 'The Laughing Audience'... just GENIUS.

They look like they'de be great to customise too! Studs, Buttons, Lace, Safety, Pins.... you could even brave some scissors :O.
AND they're all a BARGAIN at £9.99! Look great and support a good cause? YES PLEASE!

Anybody thinking of buying one of these t-shirts or doing anything else to support Red Nose Day (apart from sitting on the sofa in your pyjamas on the night watching it whilst eating ice-cream straight from the tub)? I've heard there's a dancing Flashmob... why not?

Love is in the air... or not.

Yes the dreaded Valentines day for everyone single out there is approaching. I saw some rather hideous teddy bears in Clinton Cards the other day which made me cringe. Then I thought, if someone were to buy me something for Valentines day, what would I want? And then I realised, and many of my friends agreed that the best way to a woman's (or at least our) hearts is through our tummies. There's always the standard box of chocolates which is good, but I love making (and eating) cakes and cookies etc. So I found some inspiration and here it is, my idyllic Valentine's present(s). (I fear I may have gone slightly overboard)...

Oh and maybe a pretty bunch of Red Roses wouldn't go amiss...

The best thing is, if your single, you can round up the single troops to make something pretty and scrummy.
Anyone got any special plans for Valentine's Day? What does everyone think of Valentine's day?

ASOS.

I love browsing the end of the sales, although it makes you depressed when you see things which you bought a couple of months ago, now half the price, the triumph of spotting something you wouldn't have even thought of buying at the previous price, now much cheaper is always pretty darn fabulous. Which is why when I spotted this Aviator Jakcet, I gave in and ordered it, but hey with my Biology mock and Economics mocks and everything else going on that's so crazy, I hope i deserve it.

I LOVE all the detail, especially the quiltel patches and the zips!
"ASOS Faux Shearling Aviator" reduced to £30 from £60
Do you approve?

Anyhoo, I'm also looking for some good jeggings, I got some about a year ago from topshop but I reckon it's time for some new ones, any suggestions? Maybe Topshop again? The thing is the Topshop near my house is RUBBISH and I'd have to go to oxford street which is always packed plus I have NO time. Hmmm maybe with half term coming up I'll take a little visit to Oxford Street.

Goodbye Jack Wills.

This, for me is a rather exciting post. You may have seen my rant about Jack Wills in my last post, but their need to be perfect isn't the only thing that annoys me about them. It's also the fact that when I walk into school or down the street I see 9 out of 10 girls my age wearing Jack Wills, at present the most popular garment is the Gilet. I must admit I quite like it myself and contemplated buying it, but I had reluctance. I wanted something different but the same. I do like the preppy Jack Wills style, but why did it have to be Jack Wills? I don't want to be a clone so I did some research and after much whooping ad shrieking and glee, I have decided to share my findings with you!
I've found quite a few shops that have a VERY similar style to Jack Wills but AREN'T JACK WILLS! EEK! Some of the stuff is also quite a bit cheaper an you're not just paying for the brand name, I've heard the quality is pretty great too...
These are my favorite 2:
1. Crew Clothing Co.

GBR Gilet, also in Pink £98

Rowley Blazer, also comes striped, £98

Suzi Boot reduced from £135 to £52 in the sale.

Riley Rugby Shirt also in Pink and Blue £55

GBR Hoody also in Pink and White £70

2. Joules Clothing

Bardia Hoody also in Navy £59

They have the BEST shoes, especially WELLIES! so if your going to a festival in the summer, take a look at their collection, their wellies aren't too extortionately priced either!
Wellies £35 and Shoes £69

Dauntsey Shirt £49 - floral and floaty, perfect for spring!

Didmarton Quilted Jacket also in Red £79 and Royal Nimba Gilet also in Navy £79

And that's your lot. So think twice if you're going to buy something from Jack Wills and if you want to be a little more individual maybe try out one of these shops instead? Maybe it'll become the "next big thing", which would be annoying because then I'd have to find other shops, but still, you can say you had it first!

What do you think of their clothes?
